Over the 20+ years Roof Plus Limited has been trading we have worked hard to put together a strong company management team. Requiring careful planning and execution and identifying the right team members. We foster a collaborative culture for our executive, management and fitting teams. Providing training and development, and empowering and delegating responsibilities.

Meet Our Management Team
Bob Whitney
Chairman
Bob instilled a hard-working and honest ethic in his son Russel Whitney from an early age. Bob ran Roofing Companies for over 26 years including Marley Contract Services, Pae’s Roofing and Ernest Bentley and Sons until going into partnership with Colin Jones as Colin Jones Roofing.
Russel Whitney
Managing Director
Following the successful completion of his Business Management Honours Degree Russel joined Colin Jones Roofing full time. After the turbulent years around 2008/09 Bob and Russel completed a MBO of Colin Jones Roofing Ltd and changed the name to Roof Plus Ltd.
Russel took the lead with Bob supporting Russel as Roof Plus Ltd flourished to become the business it is today. Russel still leads the company from the front helping organically grow Roof Plus Ltd year on year.
Tom Smith
Contracts Manager
Tom joined Roof Plus Ltd with no roofing knowledge but quickly climbed the ranks to become a Gang Leader. Knowing this job itself was not enough to progress into management Tom enrolled and completed a Construction Management Degree. Tom then took up the role of Contracts Manager and visits every Roofing Gang at least once a week checking that the both the quality and safety being carried out is up to standard.
ANDY PATERSON
Office Manager
Andy worked at SIG Roofing supplies for over 13 years before joining Roof Plus Ltd in 2019. With his merchanting background Andy has a rapport with Roof Plus suppliers both Merchants and Manufacturers helping ensure that Roof Plus Ltd are able to always source materials whatever the lead times. Roof Plus Ltd are proud to have never missed a single days’ production due to lack of product.
James WILLIAMS
Contracts Supervisor
James joined Roof Plus Ltd in 2012. James quickly became an integral part of the team and through his commitment, natural ability and hard work became a Supervisor primarily running the Roofing works in the Cheshire East and Stockport area.
Steve Koral
Senior Estimator
Steve continues helping Roof Plus Ltd with their estimating services after over 30 years of working with Bob Whitney. We are confident you won’t come across any roofing estimator as knowledgeable, accurate or quick as Steve at doing take-offs and producing quotations.
Tom Killilea
Estimating and Safety Manager
Tom only joined the Roof Plus team in 2023 but has integrated seamlessly into his position as Estimator. Tom had previously worked as a Warehouse Manager and has experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Mark Hill
Special Projects Manager
Mark has joined Roof Plus Ltd with a view to expanding operations beyond Roofing. Mark brings with him a wealth of Building knowledge and experience but hopes to develop that knowledge further with Roof Plus. Jack Humphreys
Commercial Manager
Jack only joined Roof Plus Ltd in 2023 checking stock levels, placing orders to replenish stock and ensuring our operatives have all the materials needed to carry out their works to programme.
Tracey Downward
Accounts Administrator
Tracey has worked for Roof Plus Ltd for over 19 years ensuring everyone gets paid on time including our own employees! If you have any account queries, please mark them for Tracey’s attention.
Arron Lennox
Warehouse Manager
Arron ensures the operatives on site have all materials they need on time to avoid any Build Programme Delays.
